Released in Japan on August 21, 1997,Dragon Ball: Final Bout (known as Dragon Ball GT: Final Bout in North America) holds the distinction of being the first game in the franchise rendered in full 3D and the final Dragon Ball title produced for the original PlayStation. Developed by TOSE, the game features a "dream match" roster of characters from both Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT, including the first video game appearance of Super Saiyan 4 Goku. While it received mixed reviews for its gameplay at the time, it has since become a nostalgic collector's item, especially the original Japanese release which features a unique "wrap-around" manual art design.
