Build impossible stunt tracks and push exotic sports cars to their limits in 4D Driving, the Japanese FM Towns version of the classic racing game originally known as Stunts. Released in Japan in March 1993 and published by Electronic Arts Victor, the game was developed by Distinctive Software and combines polygonal 3D racing with one of the era's most ambitious built-in track editors. Players can race across preset courses or design their own layouts using loops, jumps, tunnels, bridges, slaloms, corkscrews, and other stunt pieces, then test a wide range of sports, racing, and off-road vehicles against computer-controlled opponents.
Gamer Fact: 4D Driving is the Japanese adaptation of Stunts, one of the earliest racing games to make user-created stunt tracks a central feature. The FM Towns version was specially adapted for Fujitsu hardware with revised graphics, improved music, and Japanese-market presentation changes, while preserving the game's signature 3D driving and construction systems. A later FM Towns Marty-compatible edition was released separately with its own product code, making this EFT-7002 release the original standard FM Towns version.
