Galaxy Fight: Universal Warriors

Released in Japan on April 21, 1995, Galaxy Fight: Universal Warriors is a sci-fi 2D fighting game developed by Sunsoft for the Neo Geo CD. Set in a futuristic galaxy, eight diverse combatants—ranging from the space-traveling martial artist Rolf to the shape-shifting Gunter battle across different planets to defeat the malevolent entity known as Felden. 

The game is distinguished by its unique scrolling arenas that lack physical walls, allowing fighters to move infinitely in either direction, and its high-energy, CD-quality, arranged soundtrack that enhances the arcade-perfect visuals. While it features longer loading times than the cartridge version, the Neo Geo CD port is often favored by collectors for its superior audio presentation and the inclusion of an arranged BGM mode.
