Jackie Chan Action Kung Fu

Step into the shoes of martial arts legend Jackie Chan in Jackie Chan, a colorful side-scrolling action platformer developed by Now Production and published by Hudson Soft. Released in Japan on January 18, 1991, the game sends Jackie on a journey to rescue his girlfriend Meilin after she is kidnapped by the evil sorcerer Mujō Dōji. Players punch, kick, leap, and use special martial arts techniques across five large areas filled with mythological enemies, traps, platforming challenges, and oversized bosses.

Gamer Fact: The PC Engine version is not simply a straight conversion of the Famicom release. It features substantially different stage layouts, altered enemies, exclusive mini-bosses, and changes to the game's item and extra-life systems. It is also generally considered the tougher of the two Japanese console versions, making it a distinct adaptation rather than just a graphical upgrade.

What's Included:

• Original Japanese Jackie Chan PC Engine HuCARD
• Original PC Engine Jewel Case with Artwork

Compatibility Note: This is an authentic Japanese PC Engine HuCARD release. Japanese PC Engine HuCARDs are not directly compatible with a stock North American TurboGrafx-16 because the HuCARD and TurboChip interfaces use different pin assignments. Playing this game on an original North American TurboGrafx-16 requires a compatible HuCARD/TurboChip converter, an internal region modification, or modern hardware designed to support both Japanese and North American card formats.
