Monster Rancher

Monster Rancher, known in Japan as Monster Farm (モンスターファーム), is a 1997 life simulation RPG developed by Tecmo for the PlayStation (PS1). The game is famous for its unique mechanic allowing players to generate monsters by inserting any CD into the console. The series is popular for its strategic monster breeding and battling.
