Mother 1 +2

Experience the first two chapters of Shigesato Itoi's beloved RPG series in MOTHER 1+2 Value Selection for Game Boy Advance. Released in Japan on February 2, 2006 and published by Nintendo, this budget-priced re-release combines the original MOTHER and MOTHER 2: Gyiyg no Gyakushuu on a single cartridge. Both games trade traditional medieval fantasy for modern towns, baseball bats, household items, psychic powers, and strange enemies, creating the offbeat humor and emotional storytelling that would become the series' trademark.

Gamer Fact: The original MOTHER remained officially unreleased in the West for decades, despite an English NES localization having been completed. Nintendo finally released that localized version worldwide on Wii U Virtual Console in June 2015 under the title EarthBound Beginnings, more than 25 years after the original Japanese Famicom release.
