Released in Japan on July 11, 1997, SaGa Frontier is a landmark science-fantasy RPG for the PlayStation 1. It was the first title in the SaGa series to jump to 32-bit hardware and the first to retain its original series name in Western releases (previous entries were rebranded as Final Fantasy Legend).
