Saga Frontier 2

Released in Japan on April 1, 1999, SaGa Frontier 2 (サガ フロンティア2) for the PlayStation 1 marked a significant stylistic shift for Square, abandoning the 3D computer graphics of its predecessor in favor of a lush, hand-drawn watercolor art style. The game is set in the world of Sandail and follows two diverging yet eventually intertwining narratives spanning generations: the story of Gustave XIII, an exiled prince who cannot use magic ("Anima"), and Wil Knights, an adventurer investigating a mysterious soul-stealing relic known as "The Egg".
