The Futsal

Released in Japan on September 5, 2002, The Futsal (officially titled Simple 1500 Series Vol. 98: The Futsal) is a five-a-side indoor soccer simulation developed by Axes Art Amuse and published by D3Publisher. As part of the budget-friendly Simple 1500 Series, the game focuses on the fast-paced, technical nature of futsal, featuring smaller courts, a less-bouncy ball, and a heavy emphasis on close-quarters ball control and quick passing. 

Players can choose from various international and fictional teams to compete in single matches or tournament modes. Despite being a lower-budget title released late in the PlayStation's lifespan, it is noted for its accessible pick-up-and-play mechanics and for being one of the few dedicated futsal titles available on the platform.
