Vandal Hearts - Konami's gritty tactical RPG with fast, punchy battles on isometric maps and a heavy war politics story. Turns stay snappy, units level into new classes, and the game loves dramatic finishers, plus yes, the blood is hilariously over the top. Not as sprawling as FFT, but its tighter, meaner, and super satisfying if you like clean tactics without 200 menus.
