In Japan, 10-Yard Fight was released for the Family Computer (Famicom) on August 30, 1985. While the later North American NES version was retooled to play like traditional American football, the Japanese Famicom version is a much more direct port of the original 1983 arcade game, focusing on a high-score "race against the clock" format.
