Collection: Gamecube

he Nintendo GameCube is a home video game console that was developed and marketed by Nintendo. It was released in Japan in 2001 and in North America in 2001 and was the successor to the Nintendo 64 and the predecessor to the Wii. The GameCube was Nintendo's first video game console to access game data from a disk instead of a cartridge. It had a fast loading, high capacity optical disk and four controller ports

Originally released in indigo and jet black,  a limited edition platinum GameCube was released a year later. The orange GameCube, also known as the Spice Orange GameCube, was released in Japan.

Gamecubes are region locked, meaning it can only play games made for the market of it's release (North America, Europe or Japan). However, there are mod chips available that allow the console to play games from other regions.
