Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut

Race through sprawling 3D environments at breakneck speed in Sonic Adventure DX, the enhanced GameCube version of Sega's landmark Dreamcast adventure. Released in Japan on June 19, 2003 and developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega, the game tells its story through six playable characters: Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Big, and E-102 Gamma. Each character follows a different route through the conflict surrounding Dr. Eggman, the Chaos Emeralds, and the ancient creature Chaos, with gameplay ranging from high-speed platforming and treasure hunting to shooting and fishing.

Gamer Fact: Sonic Adventure DX includes 12 unlockable Sega Game Gear titles, including Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic Drift, Sonic Chaos, Sonic Labyrinth, Tails Adventure, and Tails' Skypatrol. The GameCube version also supports the GameCube-to-Game Boy Advance link cable, allowing players to download a Tiny Chao Garden to a connected GBA or transfer Chao between compatible games for portable Chao raising and mini-games.

Compatibility Note: This is an authentic Japanese Nintendo GameCube release. Original Nintendo GameCube consoles are region-locked through software, so this Japanese disc will not normally boot on an unmodified North American or PAL-region GameCube. Compatible Wii systems with GameCube support are also region-locked for original GameCube software. Playing the disc on hardware from another region requires appropriate region-compatible or modified hardware or compatible region-bypass software.
