Command an army with your own voice in Odama, Nintendo and Vivarium’s wildly original blend of pinball, real-time strategy, and battlefield action for the Nintendo GameCube. Released in Japan on April 13, 2006, the game takes place in a fictionalized feudal Japan where players guide troops across chaotic battlefields while controlling a gigantic rolling weapon known as the Odama.
The battlefield itself functions like a massive pinball table. Players use flippers to launch the Odama through enemy defenses, buildings, and soldiers while simultaneously directing their own army toward objectives. The catch is that the Odama does not care whose side anyone is on, so a badly placed shot can flatten your own troops just as easily as the enemy.
𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁: Odama uses the Nintendo GameCube Microphone to let players issue spoken battlefield commands such as ordering troops to advance, retreat, or push toward objectives. The unusual mix of voice control, pinball physics, and military strategy makes it one of the most experimental games Nintendo released during the GameCube era.

𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲: The original Japanese retail package was sold with a Nintendo GameCube Microphone and microphone holder. The photo shown here contains the game, case, and manual only, so buyers should refer closely to the listing photos for exactly what is included.
𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲: This is an authentic Japanese Nintendo GameCube release. Japanese GameCube software is region-locked and does not normally play on an unmodified North American GameCube. It requires Japanese-region hardware or a compatible region-bypass solution.
