Resident Evil 2 , released for the original Sony PlayStation on January 21, 1998, is a landmark survival horror game developed by Capcom. Directed by Hideki Kamiya and produced by Shinji Mikami, it follows rookie police officer Leon S. Kennedy and college student Claire Redfield as they attempt to escape a zombie-infested Raccoon City.
