Chou Jigen Action Neptune U

Cut through massive groups of enemies in Chou Jigen Action Neptune U, released internationally as Hyperdimension Neptunia U: Action Unleashed. Released in Japan on August 28, 2014 and published by Compile Heart, the game was developed by Tamsoft and shifts the Neptunia series into fast-paced 3D action combat. Players control familiar characters such as Neptune, Noire, Blanc, Vert, and their younger sisters, chaining together melee attacks, aerial combos, special skills, and transformations while clearing stages packed with enemies.

Gamer Fact: Neptunia U was the first game in the series developed as a full action-focused spin-off rather than a traditional RPG. Tamsoft, the studio behind the Senran Kagura action games, handled development and introduced a Dual Battle system that lets players switch between two characters during combat. The game also features costume damage mechanics, where characters' outfits visibly tear as they take damage.
