Custom Robo V2

Released in Japan on November 10, 2000, Custom Robo V2 is the highly-acclaimed sequel to the original robot-battling RPG on the Nintendo 64. Developed by Noise, the game significantly expanded the series by introducing 2nd-person "Tag Battles," over 30 new robo models, and a more complex "Great Robocup" tournament mode. Players customize small, highly-articulated robots with various guns, bombs, and pods to battle in holographic arenas called Holosseums. While it remained a Japan-exclusive release for the N64, its deep customization and fast-paced combat helped build a dedicated international following that eventually led to the series' Western debut on the GameCube.
