Famicom Mini Vol. 07: Xevious

Take flight in one of Namco’s most influential early shooters with Famicom Mini 07: Xevious, the Game Boy Advance reissue of the classic Famicom version of Xevious. Released in Japan on February 14, 2004 and published by Nintendo, the game puts players in control of the Solvalou fighter as it battles through 16 scrolling areas packed with airborne enemies, ground targets, hidden structures, and the imposing Andor Genesis mothership.

The game’s distinctive dual-weapon system requires players to use separate attacks for aerial enemies and ground installations, while carefully watching the targeting reticle to uncover hidden Sol Citadels and other secrets beneath the terrain.

𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁: Nintendo describes Xevious as a revolutionary shooter whose mysterious world inspired numerous urban legends among Japanese players. This Famicom Mini edition preserves the original game design while adding Game Boy Advance communication support, including 1-cartridge multiplayer functionality.
