Famicom Mini Vol. 09: Bomberman

Blast your way through maze-like stages in Famicom Mini 09: Bomberman, the Game Boy Advance reissue of Hudson Soft’s classic Famicom action game. Released in Japan on February 14, 2004 and published by Nintendo, the game follows Bomberman as he plants explosives to destroy blocks, defeat enemies, uncover hidden power-ups, and locate the exit hidden somewhere within each stage.

The simple rules quickly become strategic as bomb blasts travel through narrow corridors, forcing players to plan routes carefully while upgrading bomb power, blast range, and movement abilities.

𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁: Bomberman was one of Hudson Soft’s defining early franchises, and this Famicom Mini release was number 09 in Nintendo’s first wave of Game Boy Advance anniversary reissues. Nintendo’s own Japanese release materials describe it as the debut title of the Bomberman series, preserving the original Famicom gameplay in portable form.
