The Nintendo Game Boy Pocket - Pink Edition (Model MGB-001) is a specialized variant of the original Game Boy redesign released in the mid-to-late 1990s. While the standard Game Boy Pocket debuted in July 1996, the Pink variation was largely part of later color expansions and limited regional releases, most notably in Japan.
