Gradius Deluxe Pack

Take control of the Vic Viper in Gradius Deluxe Pack, a PlayStation compilation bringing together the arcade versions of Gradius and Gradius II: Gofer no Yabou on a single disc. Released in Japan on March 29, 1996 and developed and published by Konami, the collection preserves two of the defining horizontal shoot-'em-ups of the 1980s, complete with their signature power-meter upgrade system, Option satellites, branching weapon choices, relentless enemy formations, and iconic boss encounters.

Gamer Fact: Gradius Deluxe Pack was part of Konami's mid-1990s effort to bring its classic arcade shooters to 32-bit hardware with far greater fidelity than earlier home conversions. The PlayStation and Sega Saturn versions both launched in Japan on the same day and contain Gradius and Gradius II, making this one of the earliest dedicated home compilations of the core arcade series.
