Hotline Miami Collected Edition

Descend into the violent, neon-soaked underworld of Hotline Miami: Collected Edition for PlayStation Vita. Released in Japan on June 25, 2015 and published by Spike Chunsoft, the physical Vita release contains the original Hotline Miami, the fast-paced top-down action game created by Dennaton Games. Set in an alternate 1989 Miami, players receive cryptic answering-machine messages directing them toward increasingly brutal missions where doors, melee weapons, firearms, animal masks, and precise positioning become essential tools for survival. Most enemies and the player can be killed almost instantly, creating a rapid cycle of planning, execution, failure, and immediate retries.

Gamer Fact: Hotline Miami was strongly influenced by Nicolas Winding Refn's 2011 film Drive, particularly its combination of stylized violence, neon presentation, and electronic music. Developer Jonatan Söderström later specifically cited Drive as an inspiration for the game's soundtrack direction, and Refn himself appears in the original game's credits under Special Thanks.
