Released in Japan on July 24, 1990,Ninja Combat is a side-scrolling beat 'em up that served as one of the original launch titles for the Neo Geo AES. Developed by Alpha Denshi (ADK), the game follows twin ninja warriors Joe and Hayabusa as they battle the evil Kage Ichizoku clan to reach the "Ninja Tower" in a futuristic New York City. Beyond standard martial arts, players can utilize "ninpo" special attacks, such as summoning fire dragons, and can recruit defeated sub-bosses like Musashi and Kagero to join their team as playable allies.
