Released in Japan on September 29, 1995, Power Spikes II is a futuristic sports simulation developed by Video System for the Neo Geo CD. Moving away from traditional volleyball, the game features the "Hyper League," where players command cyborg-enhanced athletes in high-tech suits across fictional international teams like the USA, Japan, and Italy. 

The gameplay is fast-paced and arcade-focused, emphasizing powerful "Hyper Serves" and explosive "Power Spikes" that can be charged for devastating effects. While the Neo Geo CD version is known for its loading times, it remains a favorite for collectors due to its CD-quality arranged soundtrack and the inclusion of high-fidelity voice acting that brings the sci-fi sports atmosphere to life.
