Released in Japan on October 14, 1999 and developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega, this version builds on the original Sonic Adventure with English voice support, multilingual subtitles, additional environmental and idle voice clips, improved usability features, and worldwide internet ranking functionality. Players experience six distinct character campaigns starring Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Big, and E-102 Gamma as they battle Dr. Eggman and uncover the mystery of Chaos.

Gamer Fact: Sonic Adventure International is not simply the original Japanese release with a new label. Sega specifically updated the game for worldwide audiences, adding English voices, multiple subtitle languages, an improved emblem list, additional sound work, and global internet ranking support. It was released in Japan after the North American launch and effectively brought many of the overseas-version improvements back to the Japanese market.

Compatibility Note: This is an authentic Japanese Sega Dreamcast release.
