Virtua Fighter 5 Live Arena

Step into one of Sega's most technically demanding 3D fighting games with Virtua Fighter 5 Live Arena for Xbox 360. Released in Japan on December 6, 2007 and published by Sega, the game was developed by Sega AM2 and features 17 fighters using a wide range of real-world martial arts styles. Battles revolve around precise movement, timing, counters, throws, and deep character-specific move sets, while the Xbox 360 version adds online competition through Xbox Live alongside extensive offline training and Quest modes.

Gamer Fact: The Xbox 360 edition was based on the later Version C revision of the arcade game, giving it gameplay updates beyond the earlier PlayStation 3 release. In Japan, Sega titled this version Virtua Fighter 5 Live Arena to emphasize its Xbox Live functionality, while the North American release was called Virtua Fighter 5 Online. The Japanese version supported worldwide online battles, online-specific ranking, and voice chat.
