The dynamic gameplay constantly tests your speed by pairing a draining vitality meter with automatic screen-scrolling mechanics, forcing you to constantly gather falling fruit power-ups while jumping across tricky gaps and blasting massive boss monsters.

Gamer Fact: While the storage capacity of early CD formats was often used to add grainy full-motion video sequences or lengthy voice acting clips, Hudson Soft took a completely different approach for this release. They used the high-fidelity storage space to re-record the entire synthesized arcade soundtrack using a live music band. This gave the home console edition an incredible, rock-infused audio presentation that vastly outperformed the chip-generated music of standard arcade cabinets and cartridges at the time.
